What if I am not in good enough shape to start?
You do not need to be in great shape to start at Impact MetroWest. That is exactly why we coach.
Our small group personal training is built to meet you where you are. Whether you are brand new, coming back after years away, working around aches and pains, or feeling nervous about the gym, our coaches help you choose the right version of each movement.
We do not throw you into random workouts and expect you to keep up. We coach, adjust, and progress you safely so you can build strength, confidence, and momentum one session at a time.
What if I do the workouts but do not follow a strict meal plan?
You can still get stronger, move better, build confidence, and improve your energy by training consistently. But if your goal includes weight loss, fat loss, or major body composition change, nutrition has to be part of the plan.
At Impact, we do not believe in extreme diets, gimmicks, or unrealistic meal plans. We focus on better habits, better structure, and better decisions that fit real life.
Training builds the body. Nutrition supports the result. When the two work together, progress happens faster and lasts longer.
What should I expect at my first assessment or intro session?
Your first session is about understanding you.
We will talk through your goals, training history, injury history, schedule, nutrition habits, sleep, stress, and what has or has not worked for you in the past. From there, we look at how you move so we can identify the best starting point for your body.
This is not about judging where you are. It is about building the right plan.
Our goal is to help you make better decisions faster — with your training, your movement, your habits, and your next step — so you can stop guessing and start progressing.
What if I am traveling or need to miss sessions?
Life happens. Work, travel, family, and schedule changes are part of real life.
If you know you will be away or need to adjust your training schedule, communicate with your coach ahead of time. We will help you stay consistent, make smart adjustments, and get back on track without losing momentum.
At Impact, the goal is not perfection. The goal is ownership, consistency, and long-term progress.
Can I attend a different class time if my schedule changes?
Yes, when space is available.
We want you training consistently, but we also want every session to be coached well. Because our small group personal training is built around quality coaching, we manage session sizes so members get the attention they need.
If you need to switch times, check availability or connect with your coach so we can help you find the best option.
Can I do other fitness activities while training at Impact?
Yes. Many of our members also walk, run, play golf, play pickleball, do yoga, hike, bike, or enjoy other activities outside the gym.
Impact is designed to help you do those things better.
Our strength training helps you build muscle, improve movement, protect your joints, and create a stronger foundation for real life. The key is balancing your training, recovery, and activity level so your body gets stronger instead of constantly feeling beat up.
